    What are the different Registration Status entries used for?

    Solution:

    The various registration or attendee statuses don’t really provide any functionality. Their purpose is to provide a way for you to sort your attendee records, and for a way to filter information in custom reports. 

    xxxxx Pending

    Use this if you need to follow up with your registrants (perhaps you need to do a background check, or review their certifications before they can attend).
    Confirmed
     
    This person will attend your event.

    Approved


    Can be used in conjunction with Pending; once you’ve done the necessary review of their registration record, you can change them to Approved.
    Declined 
    You or the attendee have decided not to attend.
    Cancelled  
    You or the attendee have cancelled this registration.
    Standby  
    As with Pending, you can use this status to follow up with these registrants.
    Follow-up  

    As with Pending, you can use this status to follow up with these registrants.
    No-Show
    This person did not show up for the event.

    Additional Information:

    The Incomplete registration status is reserved as a system status and can not be assigned manually. An attendee is only set as incomplete if they did not finish the registration process and therefore will only appear in the Incomplete Registration report.

    The Attended registration status is a reserved status that is used once an attendee is checked into the event using the Check-In features or the Onsite Self-Registration kiosk.

    The Online Payment Pending status is a system status that is used to save registration data for someone who attempted to register and pay with an online credit card payment, but the payment was stalled somewhere in the payment authorization process.

    • This will only occur when there is a communication issue between RegOnline and the Merchant Gateway, not with normal credit card declines or known gateway errors.
    • You will not be charged a registration fee from RegOnilne for registrations in this status - only when the registration is completed or if you manually change the status of this attendee to a different status.
    • To have one of these registrations removed or deleted from your event, please contact RegOnline Tech Support.
