Support for International Countries, Locations and their Respective Events...

Let's say I have an event in New Zealand...or to make it easier just London, United Kingdom.

A "zip code" is not just 29301-4934. It would look more like:
A93 Z78 (which is not even a "zip code").

Your fields on the event entry form are pretty limiting to the United States. You would think once the country field has selected another country (besides the United States), that the fields would change or somehow adapt to this behavior.

Your form itself adapts quite well (for those filling out the forms), but not for those creating the forms or the first step -- and this carries through on the maps, calendar feature, etc.

Is this being experienced by other users?

Or a problem in other markets (such as the United Kingdom)? It's very limiting really if you're outside of the United States customer base. I've seen some improvements (such as time zone auto-fill!), but not many.

    Sincerely,

    Craig Huffstetler

    Craig,

I am not sure if you knew this, but you can actually rename and reuse any standard field on the Personal Information page.  Simply click on the field name (like Zip/Postal Code) and type in your own label.

In order to accommodate most of our users we do not put many limits or validation rules on these fields, so most of them are Alpha/Numeric allowing registrants to type in what they want.

We are in the process of developing additional features that will allow you to customize the registration form even more, including support for multiple languages.

Here are some Knowledge Base articles that may help:

    Thanks!

I do know this and use it.

I.E. Zip Code = Post Code, Last Name = Surname, etc.

I am more curious along the lines of this case of scenario:
Many events are Webcasts; customers need to see the time displayed in their respective time zones. Alas, only only one can be displayed. It would help if we could display EDT, BST and PST all at once.

The rest I was ask along the lines of automation based on localization.

You do support adding fields? Not just changing their names?

At this point the date and time for your event will only display to registrants in the time zone that you set up in your event.

We are working on adding additional localization features that should address this issue in the future.

As far as adding fields, you can create custom fields on the Personal Information page to display and collect any information that you wish.  However they will always display below the list of Standard Fields on the registration form.
