    How do I change the currency for my event?

    Topic:

    I would like to change the currency of my event to something other than US Dollars.  How do I change the default currency for an event?

    Solution:

    You can change the currency for your all of the fees in your event (Event Fees, Agenda Items, Merchandise, etc.) on the Checkout page in the Event Builder.

    1. Edit your event and select the Checkout page.
    2. In the Payment Options section, change the Currency of this event field to the desired currency.
    3. Save your changes.

    Once this setting has been changed, all of the fees listed in your event will be listed in the selected currency.

    Additional Information:

    If you are using a Merchant Gateway to process online credit card transactions during registration, then the charges will be processed in the currency selected above.

    If the Merchant Gateway is not set up to process charges in the currency set up in your event, then a currency conversion will take place and fees may be charged by your banking institution. More info...
