I would like to use the RegMail system to send out an invitation email to a list of people.  How do I set this up?

Solution:

You can use the free RegMail email system to create email content, upload a mailing list, and schedule a job to go out at a specific date and time.  This is a great tool to use to create an invitation email to generate traffic to your registration form. There is no limit to the number of emails that you can send using the RegMail system when your email blasts are linked to an actual event in your RegOnline account.*

To do this:

1. In your Folder List, select RegMail and then Content.  Your Content list window will display on the right side of the screen.
2. In the upper-left corner of the Content list, click the button to Create a New Email Content.  This will open another window where you can build your content. More info on creating email content...
3. Use the HTML and Text tabs to create your email.  When typing your content, be sure to put the URL link of your event that you would like to invite the recipients to.
   • For Example:  "To sign up now, please go to www.regonline.com/#####"
   • You can also add an RSVP link for your event into the invitation using the RSVP merge code. If you use the RSVP merge code, then you will not need to add a separate registration link in your email content.  See the Related Links below for further assistance with the RSVP feature.
   • As you work, be sure to periodically click the Apply button at the bottom of the window to save and stay.
4. Click OK to save your changes and close the RegMail Content window.

Additional Information:

*If a RegMail job is sent that is not associated with a RegOnline event/form, then you will be limited to 5000 emails per month at no charge. There may be an extra charge for every email sent over that limit.
