    Field Descriptions:

    General section -

    Name (required) - The name of this Registrant Type that your users will see when they start their registration.

    Column name on reports (required) - The name of this Registrant Type that you (the Event admin) will see when you run reports on your attendees.

    Upon completion of registration set initial status to - An entry here overrides the default status for your attendees who register using this type. 

    • The default status for all attendees is specified on the Start page, Registration Rules section.
    • Note: Registrants will never know their status unless you communicate it to them. The status feature is primarily used as an internal tracking mechanism for you to use.

    Limit - Enter a number here to set a limit on the number of attendees who can register using this type.

    Message displayed to registrant once limit has been reached (field is required when a Limit is specified) - When a Limit is specified, enter the message to display to your registrants to indicate that this Registrant Type is full.

    Edit additional details - Click this link to enter any additional descriptive text you would like to offer to your registrants. When text has been entered, registrants will see a Details link which, when clicked, displays your text in a popup window.

    Advanced section -

    Visible To (Public, Admin, On-Site) - These checkboxes determine whether this Registrant Type will be visible to the general public, the administrator (when you do an Admin Register), and/or to on-site kiosk registrants.

    Event fee - Enter the registration standard price associated with this Registrant Type. For example, if you want to charge $75 for this Registrant Type, enter “75” here. 

    • An entry in this field will override the Event Fee field located on the Start page.
    • See the Related Links below for more information about using the Event Fee field to charge a flat amount for your Event.
    • See the Related Links below for more information about charging a different amount to various attendees.

    Advanced - Click to open a popup window where you can specify additional options for your Event Fee, such as early bird or late pricing, discount options, taxes, and so on.

    Minimum group size for this Registrant Type - For Events using Group Registrations, an entry here sets a minimum number of registrants in each group. This is most often used for Registrant Types that receive a group discount, such as “Group of Four or More”.

    Maximum group size for this Registrant Type - For Events using Group Registrations, an entry here sets a maximum number of registrants in each group. This is most often used for Registrant Types that receive a group discount, such as “Group of Three or Less”.

    Edit minimum registrant message - Used in conjunction with the “Minimum Group for this Type” field (above), this message displays if a group that is too small tries to register using this type. Click the Edit Message link to specify this message.

    Show This Type Starting - Begin displaying this Registration Type on your registration form at a selected date. When blank, the Registration Type will always display.

    Hide This Type Starting - Begin hiding this Registration Type on your registration form at a selected date. When blank, the Registration Type will always display.

    Processing Fee - Enter the percentage of your regsitration costs (processing fees, per registrant fee, etc.) that you would like to pass on to your registrant. Learn More

    • Use the same/different confirmation email that’s set up at the Event level - Click this button to specify a different confirmation email to attendees who register using this type. When content has been specified here, attendees using this Registrant Type receive this email instead of the standard confirmation email.

    If you wish to register your attendees… - Once this Registrant Type has been saved, a URL (web address) displays in this field which automatically starts a registration using this type. This functionality can be used in conjunction with the Visible To fields (above) to create a “hidden” Registrant Type.

    • Click the Save button to save this Registrant Type and display the URL.
