Topic:
I have an international event and my hotel rates should display in Euros. How do I set that up?
Solution:
The currency that displays for your hotel depends on the default currency for your event – that is, when your event is set to use a default currency of Euros, the hotel rates display as Euros as well. That means that for events that are set up to use a default currency of US Dollars, a dollar sign ($) displays next to all currency fields in the event, including the hotel rates.
To change your event currency:
- Edit your event and click on the Registration Form Pages tab.
- Click on the Checkout page.
- In the Payment Options section at the top of the page, select the appropriate entry in the "Currency of This Event" field.
- Click Save or Save & Close.
Additional Information:
Keep in mind that the currency that is actually processed for a transaction is based on your merchant account. That means that if your event is collecting Euros but your merchant account is set to process in US Dollars, each transaction will be converted to USD before it is processed.
