How do I copy and paste text into my Internet Explorer 7 browser window?

    Topic:

I’ve recently upgraded to Internet Explorer version 7, and now I can’t paste text into my RegOnline window. What gives?

    Solution:

RegOnline’s interface is compatible Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 (or IE7, for short), which means that our functionality should not be affected when using this browser.

In our testing we found one “gotcha” in the new IE7 security settings that prevents text from being copied to a browser window. To check or change this setting:

    1. Go to an IE7 browser window and click Tools, then Internet Options.
    2. On the Security tab, select Internet, and then Custom Level.
    3. Under Scripting, click Enable for Allow Programmatic clipboard access.

    Additional Information:

This setting may have other security implications regarding passwords and other information being copied to/from your Clipboard. See the Microsoft web site posting for more information.
