I think it would be great to integrate with Quickbooks. I am a Quickbooks user and I am currently debating between paying for their Online Merchant Account services, upgrading my Paypal to Pay Pal Pro, or using yours and paying the 5%. I would do the later except I can't wait once a month for my money.

One of the great features in Quickbooks that I use is the ability to send an invoice via Email or Snail Mail. This is great because I have a few customers still in the stone age that don't have (or use) their email, and they like to pay via check. Quickbooks charges me about $0.60 per letter, and it is worth it.

I think the ability to that, as well as integrate somehow with Click2Mail or stamps.com so that I could mail a flyer or postcard for an Event or Membership notice along with sending an email, I would be in heaven!!

Re: Upcoming Feature - Accounting Integration

I am not our accounting expert by any means, but here is a vote for intergration with Dynamics (MS Dynamcis)

Thanks for asking!
Re: Upcoming Feature - Accounting Integration

We use Quickbooks.

Between card transactions with Reg and Linkpoint and customer receivables (our customers have the option to pay by check), I'm not able to tell how much revenue we have in a month, let alone how much is owed, how many accounts are paid by check and how much we netted from card activity.

We rely on our CPA and bookkeeper to provide monthly P&L statements. They rely on us to report deposits to them. We currently track receivables with custom cross-event reports but that info never sees the bookkeeper and therefore is not reflected on our financial statements. Fortunately, we don't have many post-event receivables. Very few go past 30 days so the impact on our balance sheet is negligible.

Bottom line: Bringing all that data together would be an outstanding feature. Convincing our CPA and bookkeeper to embrace that sort of import is another thing. Seems there would be lots of possibilities for duplicate entries, etc.

Would the new feature allow us to one-click a monthly P&L via the RegOnline admin panel? And then choose to export to Quickbooks?
Upcoming Feature - Accounting Integration

RegOnline is working on a new feature to integrate your RegOnline account with some popular accounting packages, and we are looking for some user feedback on what package integrations would be the most useful.

Some examples are:

MS Dynamics - this is a new package from Microsoft that encompasses many product lines.

MS Office Accounting 2007

Dynamics

What product do you use (or would you use) with RegOnline to help manage financial transactions in your account(s)?

Please share with us some of your hopes and dreams for accounting package support.
