    Setting up a SecureTrading gateway

    Topic:

    Setting up a SecureTrading gateway

    Solution:

If you do not already have a SecureTrading merchant account gateway you can set one up by going to the SecureTrading web site.

If you already have a SecureTrading merchant gateway we will need the following information to connect the gateway:

    • Your SecureTrading login – The user name and password information used to access your account
    • Your SecureTrading Xpay digital certificate – This is a file with a “.pem” extension which SecureTrading will send to you on request in two emails – one with a password-protected zip file, and the password in a separate email message.
    • Statement Name – The name that you have listed in your SecureTrading account, this is the name that will show up on your registrant's credit card statement to reference who made the charge.
    • Credit Card Types - The credit card types (Visa, Amex, etc.) your SecureTrading gateway is configured to process.

To set up your SecureTrading merchant gateway with RegOnline, send us your Xpay test certificate to MerchantInfo@Regonline.com. We will load the test certificate on our servers, test it and, once testing is completed, we’ll request that you send us your live Xpay certificate. Note that once we have tested your account with the test certificate, it is not necessary to re-test using the live certificate.

You can submit this information to MerchantInfo@Regonline.com, along with the RegOnline customer number(s) that you wish to connect to this gateway. We will enter this information into your RegOnline account and contact you when the setup is complete. Once this is done and tested, all of your RegOnline events can use the same SecureTrading account to process online credit card transactions.

    Additional Information:

    Fees:

    • There are no account setup fees and no monthly charges.
    • There is a 0.95% transaction fee for all online credit card transactions.
      • This fee will be billed to you by RegOnline in addition to any fees billed to you by SecureTrading.
      • Online credit card refunds are considered an online transaction and therefore are subject to the normal transaction fees.
    • These fees are valid for any gateway setup after September 26th, 2008. For older gateways, contact your sales representative for pricing information.

You have the ability to restrict API access in your SecureTrading account by IP address as an added security measure. If you have entered any IP address restrictions in your SecureTrading account setup, then you will need to add RegOnline's server IP's to your SecureTrading account or you will receive transaction errors when processing credit card transactions.

    RegOnline's Server IP addresses are:
