How do I allow my attendees to upload a photo of themselves?

    Topic:

I would like to allow (or require) my registrants to upload an image of themselves to include in a Directory or Badge.

    Solution:

You can use the Upload Photo Standard Field on the Personal Information page to allow (or require, if you’d like) your attendees to add a picture of themselves to their event registration.

    To do this:

    1. Edit your Event and click on the Registration Form Pages tab and then the Personal Information page.
    2. In the Optional Fields section, select the checkbox in the Visible column for the Upload Photo field
    3. If you’d like to make this field required as well (so the attendee must upload an image), Select the checkbox in the Required column.
    4. Save your changes.

    Additional Information:

    • Photos uploaded using the File Upload field type on custom fields and Agenda Items can not be displayed on Labels, Badges, or Directories.
    • File must be a .GIF or .JPG image; maximum file size is 10MB.
    • If the image size is larger than a thumbnail image it will be resized when uploaded to fit a typical thumbnail size (approximately 3 inches wide x 3 inches high [roughly 300 pixels wide x 300 pixels high], depending on the scale of the uploaded image).
