    Setting up an Ogone gateway

    Topic:

    Setting up an Ogone gateway

    Solution:

If you do not already have a Ogone merchant account gateway you can set up an Ogone DirectLink Account by contacting Ogone at www.Ogone.com or via email at sales@ogone.com.

Once the Ogone gateway is set up:

    • Go to the Ogone secure login page and log in using your PSPID and password.
    • Click on the Users link under Configuration.
    • Sign up for a new user account.  Set the REFID field to the PSPID (parent userID).
    • Check the Special User for API checkbox.
    • Complete the remaining fields and save the User.

Once this new account is set up and verified, RegOnline will need the following information:

    • UserID - Your Ogone user ID
    • PSPID - The Merchant ID chosen by the merchant administrator when opening an Ogone account
    • Password - The password associated with this ID
    • Statement Name (50 character limit) - This should match the credit card statement name that you have entered in your Ogone Merchant Gateway account.
      • If you wish to change the name that appears on your registrants' credit card statements and receipts, then you will want to change this name in your Merchant Gateway Account and here in RegOnline.
    • The base currency you want RegOnline to use as the default currency for your events.
    • Credit Card Types - The types of credit cards (Visa, Amex, etc.) that your Ogone gateway is set up to process.

Submit this information to merchantinfo@regonline.com; be sure to include your RegOnline customer number(s) that you wish to connect to this gateway.

    Additional Information:

    Fees:

    • There are no account setup fees and no monthly charges.
    • There is a 0.95% transaction fee for all online credit card transactions.
      • This fee will be billed to you by RegOnline in addition to any fees billed to you by Ogone.
    • These fees are valid for any gateway setup after September 26th, 2008. For older gateways, contact your sales representative for pricing information

    IP Restrictions -

You have the ability to restrict API access in your Payflow Pro account by IP address as an added security measure. If you have entered any IP address restrictions in your Payflow Pro account setup, then you will need to add RegOnline's server IP's to your Payflow Pro account or you will receive transaction errors when processing credit card transactions.

    RegOnline's Server IP addresses are:

    65.103.98.189
    65.103.98.161
    65.103.98.186
    72.18.216.97

If you wish to use more than one currency -

Each currency requires a separate Ogone account or gateway. For example, if you have one event that will process transactions in Euros, and another in British Pounds, you’ll two Ogone accounts setup in your RegOnline account and each event setup with the respective gateway that you wish to use for the different currency.
