My event is ready for testing. How do I enter a test registration?
Solution:
When your event (or other form) is in Testing status, you can test register as many times as you’d like and all of the registrations will be flagged as Test registrations. This is the best way to see what your event will look like to your attendees when you go live, so you’ll probably want to enter as many as you need to feel comfortable. And besides, there’s no charge for test registrations!
To test register for your event:
- Navigate to the folder where your event is located and click on it (it will highlight in blue).
- In the Functions tab, click the Register link. Your form will open in a new window. At the top of the page, you should see the text “In testing mode. Test registrations only.”
- Enter your email address (or any email address for that matter), make any other selections that you have set up in your form -- such as whether you’ll be registering more than one person, and your Registrant Type – and click Continue.
- Continue through the registration process – you’ll most likely need to enter personal info, then select agenda items, etc. – until you come to the Checkout page. If your event is set up to accept credit card payments, you can follow the link below (“What credit card number can I use to enter test registrations?”) to see a list of test credit card numbers that you can use to complete your registration.
