Topic:
I would like to charge different registration fees for different kinds of attendees (Registrant Types). How do I set this up?
Solution:
If you have different categories of attendees that you would like to charge different registration fees for, then you can set this up by creating Registrant Types. Each Registrant Type can have its own Event Fee (or registration fee). Each Event Fee can then be setup with various discount options, such as Early-Bird / Late pricing or various discount or coupon codes.
- For example: If you would like to charge your Members $100 and your Non-Members $150 to attend your Event, then you will want to create two different Registrant Types (one for Members and another for Non-Members) with their own Event Fee.
To set up an Event Fee for a particular Registrant Type:
- Edit your Event.
- Click on the Registrant Form Pages tab and then the Start page.
- Click Add a New Registrant Type or Edit an existing one.
- Click on the Advanced section
- In the Event Fee field enter in the Regular or Standard Price for your registration fee for this type.
- You can set up advanced pricing options by clicking on the Advanced link
- Save your changes when finished.
Additional Information:
If you have optional, scheduled activities that require a fee, then you can create these fees on the Agenda page.
