Topic:
How do I copy an event from a parent account to a sub-account?
Solution:
If an event exists in one of your RegOnline accounts, than you can use that event as a template in any other Sub-Account that you have with RegOnline. This will allow you to, essentially, copy the registration form between accounts so that you don't have to build a new one from scratch.
To do this:
- Sign in to the Parent account where the event exists and select the event that you want to make available in the sub-account. The selected event will be highlighted in blue.
- Click and drag the event into the Templates folder. A pop-up message will display asking if you’d like to make this event available as a template - click OK. A copy of this event will be added to the Templates folder.
- Right-click on the Templates folder and select Share Templates. The Share Templates window will display.
- Check the box(es) for the sub-account(s) in which you want this template to be available, and click OK.
- From your Folder List, select Other Accounts then click on the Sub-Account where you want this event to be copied. A pop-up message will display asking if you’re sure you want to log in to this account; click OK.
- You will be logged out of the Parent Account and into the Sub-Account you selected.
- Click the Events folder, then click on the down arrow icon to the right of the Create a New Event link. A drop down menu will display.
- Select the option to Create from template. A new window will open.
- Select the template that you created from the list and click OK. The Event Builder will open to edit and save the new event.
- Make any appropriate changes and save your new registration form.
