I would like to send a URL (web address) to someone that links to one or more of the reports in my account. How do I create a link directly to a report?

Solution:

You can generate a link to most reports in your account using the Smart Link feature. This feature is available on all custom reports as well as most of the Standard reports in your RegOnline account.

To link to a Snapshot Report:

1. On the Reports section, click the Event Snapshot report link.
2. In the Snapshot report, click the Email Smart Link button at the upper right corner of your report (looks like an envelope).
3. Complete the To address and Send.

To link to a Report:

1. In the Reports section, click the title of the report to open it.
2. Click on the Smart Link button at the top of the report window. This will open the Smart Link options window.
3. Select the checkbox to Enable Smart Link access to this report.
4. Enter a Password in the security section if desired (optional).
5. Select the Format of the report (default is HTML format).
6. Click Apply to save and stay or OK to save and exit.

Additional Information:

• Smart Links to Standard Reports will allows display unfiltered results to the recipient of the Smart Link. Custom filters applied to a Standard Report will not be saved.
• The Credit Card Reconciliation report can not be linked using the Smart Link feature.
• In order to secure private attendee data, reports generated using the Smart Link feature will never contain links to view additional information about attendees. The data is "flat" and only displays information that is on the report.
• Any data entered into the Social Security Number standard field on the Personal Information page will be encrypted and will never be visible on a Smart Linked report or an Attendee Directory.
