    How do I remove registrants from an agenda item or custom field?

    Topic:

    I would like to remove all attendees from a specific Agenda Item / Fee or Custom Field  in order to remove the item from my registration form. How can I do this?

    Solution:

    Once an item is selected by an attendee(s), then the item can not be deleted and the field type can not be changed.  If your event is still in Testing Status, then you can simply delete all of your test registrations.

    However if your event is active and you have real registrations then this will take a bit more effort.The easiest way to remove all of the attendees from a particular item on your event is to start on the Event Snapshot report.

      1. In the Reports section, click the Event Snapshot link.
      2. In the Snapshot report, scroll down to the agenda item (or custom field) you want to delete. If there are any attendees signed up for this item, there will be a blue number to the right of this item. Click the number to see a report of these attendees.
      3. Click the ID number to the left of the first attendee, to display that individual's Attendee Info.
      4. Click the Agenda Items button in the left column, then click Edit at the right. This will pop-up this attendee’s agenda item selections in a new window.
      5. Un-select the agenda item that you want to delete.  (All agenda items display in this window, so you can also select any agenda item(s) you want to add to this attendee’s record.)
      6. Scroll down to the bottom of the window and click Save and Close.  A notice will display that adjustments may have been made to transactions – click OK in response to this notice.
      7. Close that individual's Attendee Info screen by clicking the red x box in the upper right corner of the window.
      8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 for each attendee who has selected this item.
      9. Once all attendees have been moved off this item, return to your home page and go into the Event Setup for this event.
      10. On the Agenda Fees tab, scroll down to the agenda item you want to delete.  Click the Delete icon (black X) on the far right. A pop-up message will display asking, “Are you sure you want to delete this?” Click OK.
      11. Click Apply to save and stay or OK to save and exit.
