How do I create a new Agenda Item?
Solution:
Agenda Items are the various "components" of your Event. For example, your Event may have such items as additional registration fees, optional or scheduled activities, workshops, breakout sessions, perhaps an awards banquet or golf outing, and so on. Each of these examples would be set up as a separate Agenda Item.
To add a new Agenda Item:
- Edit your Event
- Click on the Registration Form Pages tab and then the Agenda page
- Click the Add Agenda Item link. This will open the Agenda Item Details panel.
- Make the appropriate entries in the following fields:
- Name on Form (required) - Displays on the registration form.
- Example: "Please check here if you plan to bring a guest to the Tuesday awards banquet"
- By default, content entered here will be entered automatically into the Name on Receipt and Name on Reports fields. To define these fields seperatly, click the Options link next to the Name on Form field.
- Name on Receipt (required) - Displays on registrants' records after registration, such as their receipt or invoice.
By default, this will be the same as the Name on Form.
- Example: "Bringing guest to Tuesday Awards Banquet"
- Name on Reports (required) - Displays on your reports. By default, this will be a shortened version of the Name on Form.
- Example: "Tuesday Awards Banquet"
- Field Type (required) - See the Related Notes below for a list of field types, and what each one is used for.
- Visible/Required - check the Registrant Type(s) that you want to see this item. To make an item visible to a particular type, check the box in the Visible column. To require your attendees to respond to this item, also check the box in the Required column.
- Make any other entries that you require for this item, such as the fee for this item (Regular Price field), any early or late pricing for this item (Pricing Options section), and any other entries you may need for this item.
- Save your changes.
