    How do I copy an agenda item or custom field?


    Topic:

    I would like to make a copy of one of my Agenda Items / Fees or Custom Fields.

    Solution:

    It is often easier to copy an existing item that you have already created and edit it than building a similar item from scratch.

    To copy an item on your registration form:

      1. Edit your Event.
      2. Navigate to the page where you want to make the copy (Agenda, Personal Information, or Lodging & Travel).
      3. Find the item that you wish to copy and click the Copy icon to the right of it (this icon looks like two pieces of paper). 
      4. In the popup window, enter the number of copies that you'd like to make and click OK.
        • Note: This pop-up window is a scripted window and may be blocked by your browser due to a security setting. See the Additional Information below.
        • The copies appear directly below your original item with the text 'Copy1', 'Copy2', etc. added to the name of the field.
      5. Edit the items appropriately and save your changes.

    Additional Information:

    Most browsers give you the option to "temporarily allow scripted windows" by clicking on a bar at the top of your browser window.  However we recommend that you add https://www.regonline.com to your list of trusted internet sites in your browser's security settings to avoid some these features and functionality from being blocked.
