I would like to display and/or collect lodging and travel preferences and information on my event registration form.  What are my options?

Solution:

There are a few ways to set up your Lodging & Travel information on your registration form, and the best approach depends on what your needs are and how you want to display the lodging information.  Here are some different situations that require unique configurations:

Situation #1 - I would like to collect lodging information from my attendees in order to book their accommodations for them.

In this situation you will need to use the Lodging & Travel page to collect your attendees’ preferences using either the standard Lodging & Travel fields, or by creating your own custom fields to collect additional information. Click on one of the links below for complete information.

Situation #2 - I would like to provide information to my attendees about a specific hotel so that they can make their own reservations.

In this situation, you can use one of the following options:

1. Display this information on the Lodging & Travel page so that it is visible when your attendees are registering for your event.

   • How do I send registrants to the hotel to make their own reservations?
     
     
2. Display this information on the Lodging & Travel tab of your Event Website.

3. Display this information on the Confirmation Page, which attendees will see when they complete their registration.
   
   
   • You can edit the message that appears on the Confirmation page from the Confirmation page in your event setup.
   • Click on the Edit Confirmation Message link in the Confirmation Page Options.
     
     
4. Display this information in the Confirmation Email that they receive when they have completed their registration. 
   
   
   • How do I modify the confirmation email that my attendees receive?
