    How do I reconcile my RegOnline credit card transactions for my account?

    Solution:

    You can run a credit card reconciliation report for all events in your account or for individual events for any given date range. This report will show you every credit card transaction that has been passed from RegOnline to your Merchant Gateway.

    To run the account level credit card reconciliation report:

      1. On the Account tab, click Account Reports.
      2. In the Detailed Account Activity section, select the month you'd like to reconcile, select Credit Card Transactions and click the Run button.. A report of all credit card transactions in your account displays in a new window. 
      3. To reconcile your credit card transactions, compare this report with the report from your merchant account.

    To run a credit card reconciliation report for a particular event:

    1. On the Events tab, find your event in and click its Title.
    2. Click on the Reports link to view all reports associated with this event.
    3. Click on the Credit Card Transactions link to run the report.
      • If you wish to specify the date range for this report, then click on the Filter link next to the report link to open the filter window.

    Additional Information:

    If you have more than one RegOnline account using the same Merchant account you will need to repeat this for every RegOnline Account and use the cumulative results.

    Running the Credit Card Reconciliation report for on an individual event will allow you to apply additional filters and allows you to export the report to Excel if needed.


    If you run the Credit Card Transaction Report from just the event it will display in the time zone of the event. Example: Event in Mountain time zone, but gateway is in Eastern time zone - you will see a two hour difference in transaction times.

    If you run the Credit Card Transaction Report for all events in the account it will pull from the account default time zone. Example: You have 5 events, all in different time zones, but your Default Time Zone is Mountain. If you select ALL then it will run in Mountain time. You Default Time Zone can be found on the Account tab, under the Account Defaults section.

    If you only have 1 event processing credit cards and you select ALL, then it will ignore the event time zone and run in the account time zone.
