Topic:
How do I send an email with one or more attachments?
Solution:
There are two ways to add attachments to emails in RegOnline. The easiest way to add an attachment to an email is to use the Document Manager tool located in the HTML Content editor when you are composing the email.
To do this:
- Edit the email that you wish to add the attachement to (or create a new one).
- In the HTML Content Editor, enter the text you wish to use as a link.
- For example: "Click here to download the document."
- Using your mouse, highlight the text you wish to be the link that registrants click on to download the document.
- While this text is highlighted, click the Document Manager icon
from the toolbar at the top of the HTML Content Editor.
- In the Document Manager window, click the Upload Document tab.
- Browse for your document on your own computer, and double-click on the document to select it.
- Click the Upload button. This will take you to the Browse Files tab. Your document will now display in the list at the left.
- Click the Insert button to the right. Your highlighted text should now be underlined indicating that a link has been created from that text to your document.
- Save your changes.
You can also attach a file or document to an email on the Attachments Tab when creating email content in RegMail. This will attach a file to an email in the traditional manner rather than creating a hyperlink to it in your email body.
To do this:
- From the RegOnline Manager screen, click on the RegMail | Content section.
- Edit an existing RegMail email content.
- Click on the Attachments tab.
- Click Browse to locate the file on your computer.
- Click Add to add the file to the email content.
- Save your changes.
