What is the Master List, and what is it used for?

    Topic:

When I go into RegMail, I see a list called the Master List. What is this and what is it used for?

    Solution:

The Master List is a list of everybody who has registered or attempted to register for one of your forms (events, memberships, etc.), as well as anybody that is on any of your mailing lists.

    About the Master List:

    • Think of it as a “bucket” into which all of your account activity goes.
    • You cannot email directly to the Master List, though you can create filtered lists from it based on filter criteria.
    • You cannot make changes to the Master List -- such as remove someone from it, change an email address, or flag an email as bad – but you can download the Master List, change information in the download, then upload that list as a new custom list.

    Additional Information:

    None.
