Regonline integration experience with databases other CRM solutions?

I know regonline provides basic integration with salesforce.com, though nowhere near as complete as ActevaRSVP.
Unfortunately RSVP doesn't accomodate paid events.
Does anyone have experience using regonline with other CRM solutions, or has any substantially extended the salesforce.com integration?
We've previously use CiviCRM and evaluated others such as WildApricot and SugarCRM though most of our contact data currently exists in a custom MS Access database.
Thanks for any advice.
