I would like to make different items on my registration form visible to various registrants.  How do set this up?

Solution:

You can make items visible to specific groups or categories of registrants by using Registrant Types in your event. Registrant Types are categories or classes of registrants, such as Members, Non-Members, Exhibitors, etc., and can be used to create different pathways through your registration form.

Once you have created Registrant Types in your registration form, then you can set the visibility options on your various Custom Fields and Agenda Items to make specific items visible or required to all or some of your different Registrant Types.

To do this:

1. Edit your event and locate the item that you wish to modify.

2. Edit the Custom Field or Agenda Item
3. In the General section, you will see a grid of your Registrant Types next to the question Which types of registrants can see this Custom Field?
4. Select the checkboxes next to each Registrant Type to make the item Visible or Required.
• Select All to make the item visible to all Registrant Types.
5. Save your changes.

You can Preview your event and select the Registrant Type from the drop down menu in the upper left corner to view the form pages for the selected type.
