I would like to set up separate billing for different events in RegOnline. How do I set that up?
Solution:
Each account in RegOnline will generate a single bill or invoice each month. However if you need to have a separate bill or invoice generated and sent to a different department or client for different events, then you can create multiple Sub-Accounts to achieve this. A Sub-Account is simply a separate RegOnline account that is connected to another RegOnline account (or Parent Account). You can create new folders, events, users, and billing information for each Sub-Account that you set up.
To create a new Sub-Account:
- In the RegOnline Manager screen, click the Administration folder on the left side-bar.
- Click the Open Sub Account link. The Open Account window displays.
- Complete all the fields & and click the Go To My Account button. You will be automatically logged into your new Sub-Account.
Additional Information:
Once you are logged into your new Sub-Account, be sure to:
- Setup new users or copy users from your other RegOnline accounts.
- Update the billing information if it is different from the Parent Account.
- Setup any necessary merchant gateways for credit card processing (existing Gateways will not be copied to the new Sub-Account automatically).
