I would like to change the prices of my recurring membership fees on my membership. How do I do this?
Solution:
Whenever you modify an existing, recurring membership fee then new members will be charged the new price when they register, and existing members will be charged the new price the next time they renew.
To change the price for a recurring fee:
- Edit your Membership and click on the Membership Form Pages tab, and then the Membership Fees page.
- Edit the existing Membership Fee. This will open the Define Membership Fee window.
- In the Define Membership Fee window, change the Amount in the Regular Price field
- Modify and any other advanced fee options such as discount codes or tax rates.
- Save your changes.
Additional Information:
Changing an existing Membership Fee will change the fee that is charged to new members or existing members when the renew. If you wish to create a new fee that does not affect existing members, then you will probably want to create a new Member Type (or Registrant Type) that has the new membership fee associated with it.
