About the Button Designer -

The Button Designer tool allows you easily create HTML code to insert into your own website or email that will direct registrants directly to your registration form.

You can use this tool to create a dynamic:

• Register Now Button
• Flash Image/Button
• Text Link
• Inline Form (iFrame)

Field Descriptions -

Step 1 - Select the type of link you'd like to create - Use this first screen to select the type of item that you wish you use to direct registrants to your registration form.

• Button - This option will provide you with various button images that link out to your Registration form or Event Webiste. 
  
  
• Flash Widget - This option creates a Flash image or button that displays the event title, location, start date, and number of days until the event start date. 
  
  
• Text - This option creates a hyperlink in text format that will take registrants out to your registration form or event website.
  
  
• Inline Form (iFrame) - This option provides you with HTML code that can be inserted into your own website to display the registration form in an embedded iFrame.

Click Next to continue to the next page.

Step 2 - Choose a destination page - Use this page to select the destination of the link or button that is created. 

• Registration Form - Select this option to direct registrants to the welcome page of your registration form where registrants begin the registration process by entering in their email address and selecting their registrant type.
  
  
• Event Website - Select this option to direct registrants to the details page that can be created for your event

• Account Level Event Calendar - Select this option to direct registrants to view a calendar of all active events in your account.
  

Open link in a new window - Check this box if you wish for the link to open in a new browser window (inserts the HTML code "target=_blank"). Not visible for the iFrame option.

Click Next to continue to the next page.

Step 3 - Customize - Use this page to further customize the look and content of your button or link. Not available for the Flash Widget or iFrame option.

• Button - Type in the text that you want to appear on button and choose the style of button that you wish you use.
  
  
• Text - Type in the text that you want to use for this hyperlink.
  • Example: "Register Now!"
    

Click Next to continue to the last page.

Step 4 - Select the Code below and include it on your website - Simply highlight the HTML code that is provided on this page, copy the code, and insert it into your own email or website (you may need to provide this code to your webmaster to publish to your website or email.)
